John and Christina
We never imagined how much we would love being parents.
We are humbled you would consider learning more about our family. We have two children but we strongly believe we have room in our home and our hearts for another child. We believe it is no accident that you are reading our profile right now and want you to know that we have been praying for you and your child for a long time now.
In our home your baby will have both a brother and sister to grow up with. We think siblings are a sweet and important life long relationship. We seek to encourage all of our kids individually, and grow their relationships with each other. We pray they will be a source of fun and support throughout their life.

About Us
We met through church on a weekend retreat.
We were sitting with other volunteers around a fire, the next weekend we went dancing together and well, the rest is history. We were actually both born at the same hospital in Dallas. Christina grew up in Dallas and John grew up in Colorado and Arkansas. We met volunteering with elementary age kids at the church we attend. We have built a home and a life together that is founded on love and faith. In our marriage and in our parenting, we try to have patience, extend grace and have fun! We strive to create a loving home filled with joy, where our children feel safe and secure, and always know they are loved -- and that love is not based on anything they can ever do or say -- it is unconditional.
We truly love spending time together as a family. We love doing new big adventures and treasure small everyday blessings.
Our Home & Family
We live in a “front yard” neighborhood–where everyone is out in their front yards a lot.
We have a fun mix of young families with little children, families with teens, and several empty-nesters who are like bonus grandparents who are always stopping by to say hello. We love to walk the tree-lined streets - or cruise on bikes and scooters! We have two parks that are walkable and several neighborhood splash pads we frequent in the summer. Our home is pretty fun too! We have the kids room off the living room so we are always playing together. We have a play-fort with a fun slide that John built and nice pool where our kids are learning to swim.
Our large extended "family" includes several families that live nearby with kids of all ages. We love getting together for park play dates, picnics, cook outs, and bike rides. We meet up for meals on the weekends and meet at church for various events together. Our family gathers for holidays in homes or vacations homes – cousins of all ages love to play together. Several families in our tribe have many children (3-9) so everyone is thrilled with the possibility our family may grow. Christina's only sister and two of her first cousins are adopted and John's first cousin has 2 adopted young children, so our family is very welcoming and inclusive.
